Rapidly expanding start-up micro-brewery, Betteridge’s Brewery, approached Webkick for support with the sometimes complicated and daunting need to establish the brand – logo, marketing material, messaging, and website, social media platforms, and everything in between – all from scratch.View the project
Run by 1 man with a passion for his community, and bringing local, quality produce to the forefront, Betteridge’s Brewery needed a brand that reflected this; a website that gave the business space to share local stories and achievements, and a logo design – across bottle labels, pump clips, stationary & beer mats, and digital platforms – that instilled trust, and reflected Betteridge’s quirky personality; a brand identity that shouted resilience and tradition, without being too rigid. Known for thinking 'outside the box', Betteridge was confident our experts here at Webkick could deliver.
As Betteridge’s Brewery is run by 1 man from a beautiful barn in the middle of the countryside; his passion for his local community being engaging and infectious, we got to know him – what made him tick, what was important to him, and what did he want to achieve with his Brewery? Combining this with his chosen cliental and their customers – established, rural pubs in the local area - we created the masculine, traditional, and simple logo you see today; offsetting it against the witty and unusual names and associated images of the brews, such as ‘Serious Black’, and ‘Private Sector’ demonstrated by a bowler hat.
Now, Betteridge’s Brewery is the proud owner of a striking, attractive brand as quirky as he is; inspired by iconic and trusted brands in the brewing industry, with a dash of Betteridge’s personality and lust for life. His website is beautifully crafted to intertwine the latest business news such as award wins, and partnerships with local pubs, with local upcoming events, new brews, and the fascinating history of the Brewery’s premises. Together, this activity showcases Betteridge’s Brewery as an expanding, exceptional businesses, firmly rooted in its locality, with the space to grow.
“Thank you for everything you have done so far – it is all really good and has served my business so well. I’m really pleased I have you on my side!"Mark Betteridge
