As a London-based merchant banking group, working with established SMEs (Small to Medium-sized Enterprises), and M&As (Mergers & Acquisitions) both in the UK and internationally, Nash & Co needed a new website that instilled confidence and trust in the visitor; a design and layout that showcased the business as an expert in the field, gave visitors all the information they needed in order to confidently make an enquiry, and enabled those visitors to connect with the business on other platforms.
Having recently been acquired by the partners of Nash Capital Group LLP, Nash & Co also needed a new logo, to suit their new business ventures; ensuring existing and potential clients alike would remain loyal to and retain confidence in the business’ outstanding reputation in the field.
An established Merchant bank, Nash & Co has many years of experience working with corporations; their new website needed to reflect this. Using aspirational imagery throughout the site as a backdrop, making the written information stand out, and focusing on the team’s expertise in each of the business’ given services – corporate finance, invest & lend, and EIS Funding – began to achieve this.
This is supported by a clear and direct top menu bar, simply breaking down each service, including contact details on each page; alongside social buttons, and a ‘Latest News’ feature to provide visitors with useful information that may affect their businesses. Their new logo followed suit; simple and understated – using the business’ strong and trusted name in the field of merchant banking as the focal point.
Now, Nash & Co has a fully responsive, future-proof website that showcases the business as an expert in the field; drawing on the experience of the staff, the ethos of the business as a whole, and the comprehensive services offered.
The website is clean, simple and, as a responsive site, is discoverable on mobile devices and desktops alike – meaning that those searching on mobiles (which make up over 80% of online audiences) can easily find the website. Contact details, ‘latest news’, and social buttons are at the bottom of each page to ensure visitors are encouraged to contact the business at any point, and engage on other online platforms.
The information provided on each page is concise and instils trust and confidence in the visitor.
